I am happy to report that my happy-pills seems to be kicking in and I am feeling much better. Still struggling to get out of bed, but maybe the cold weather is aggrivating the situation. My brain seems to be functioning a lot better and I am full of ideas for when I start doing classes again in August. I have also decided to spread my wings and go further afield (slightly out of Brackenfell) in order to get more kids to teach.
We had a rather quiet weekend. I had to do a party in Pinelands on Saturday and we had dinner at my moms house yesterday. Really not much! I think that it is good to just kick back and relax some weekends!

Interesting day
I had a very "exciting" day today. I agreed to be my niece's "client" this morning for her nail exam. She is studying cosmotology and I had to go to her yesterday for a while so that she could prepare my nails. I had to be in Parow at 08H30 this morning - that is very early for me! Shame she was very nervous but did a pretty good job on my one hand. She had to do one hand with tips and one with forms. The hand with the forms didn't come out as well as the other, but that didn't really bother me. She will now redo that hand for me this afternoon as I am going to stay her client for a while so that she can practice.
Afterwards I popped in by Stefanie to say hello to the ladies in her Tuesday class and then home to dirty dishes, dirty washing etc. It really sucks not having a maid everyday, but I think we have now adjusted to the new house cleaning "standard". So far I haven't done any ironing as my dear husband has been doing it - he really is very good to me!
This afternoon was spent teaching a class to my one student on a Tuesday. I actually quite enjoy it and two other little girls asked for forms as they would also like to do scrapbooking lessons. Don't have any plans for tonight so will just chill and get my washing dry - as some of you know, a housewife's day is never done!

Various things
Hello everybody, it has been so long it almost feels as if I have to introduce myself again. It has been an extremely eventful week, as I decided last weekend that I can't give up on A Scrap Above that easily! I have made some price adjustments on my website, changed my advert in Cape Town's Child and went to 4 after care's this week to tell the kids all about the exciting classes I am going to be doing at their schools! The kids were all very nice and very excited and couldn't wait to take the forms home to their mothers/fathers! It was a wonderful boost to my self esteem - I should have done this months ago! AND the 4 after care's are all in our road!
To make things even better, I have had quite a few queries for parties and will be doing one this coming Friday! It is really amazing how things have been this week, I am very excited and hopeful for the future again.
On the downside my maid is leaving us on Wednesday and I will have to start doing my own housework for the first time in years! ANYTHING to stay at home I guess! My children will have to pull up their socks very fast and start doing there own rooms at least.
Anyway, that is it in a nutshell. Will keep you up to date!
