This is the front page for my 2010 album:
I am very happy with both layouts! Now I must get myself organised and get back into the routine of scrapping every Tuesday. Have a great weekend!

I eventually finished the last of my "party" paper last week and it was such fun going out to buy new paper on Monday!! This is the 2 ranges I decided on:
The pink seems a bit dull, but I will have to think of a way to use it so that it will make stunning mini albums. I am looking forward to using it!
Their team also ended up in the final, but the final was won by the disabled team in their wheelchairs. It was quite an eye opener and gave me a lot more respect for the people in wheelchairs. It is not easy! Here is a photo of the two teams:
I attended a Tim Holtz class with a friend about 2 weeks ago. We each got a chipboard album, grungeboard and some other embellishments. Part of our kit was also some pages torn out of Hamlet. It made for very interesting pages! We first had to stick the paper onto the chipboard pages, then inked it with distress ink. I was amazed at how much like leather the grungeboard looked by the time we were finished painting, sanding and inking them! It was a very enjoyable class. Here is the results:
I decided to use some wedding photos to complete the album - printed in sepia of course! I got home, dragged Colin to the mall to have photos printed and then finished the whole album that night. I was very inspired and excited!
I went and scrapped this morning and did this layout. Actually I am lying, the teacher put all the photos on the pages and I just stuck them down! I must still do the journalling, but have a look:
Andrew had his first archery lesson last Saturday, but all the photos are on the hubbies camera, will have to get them from him and then I can show you.
My daughter had her first informal lesson in October and this is the layout I did. The horse belongs to my sister and you must see the obsolute joy on her face when she is with her horse! Absolutely incredible! I took a photo of the single page, but it didn't come out very nice.
We took Chilly to the vet on Wednesday and he is happy with the progress. The only problem is that he started chewing on his toes and they were not looking very good. The vet prescribed some ointment that we have to rub in every day. I phoned the vet again yesterday as the one toe looked like a stump and the other toe also didn't look too hot. The vet suggested that we put a plaster over the toes after rubbing the ointment in. The poor thing also became more and more frustrated and eventually didn't want anybody to touch him. I decided to put him into a "portable" bowl on Friday so that we could cart him around all over the house. He is now doing a lot better and has become a lot more mobile. It actually looks quite funny watching him jump around on one leg and climbing up to the top of his cage. He has also started sitting on his old perch again at night when he sleeps. Just 2 more weeks to go!
The layout I finished on Monday. I scraplifted from a Becky Higgins Sketch and used paper that my sister gave me. Thanks Lynette!
There are Christmas markets all over the city.
He took this one through the window. It is of a giant father christmas made entirely out of chocolate. No, he didn't buy it for me.
It was snowing on the first night when he went for supper.
He did some sight-seeing on Sunday and did quite a bit of walking.
We took Michael out for supper for his birthday. Don't worry, he wasn't drunk, just acting!
Richard was holding the straw paper and Michael was cutting it with the steak knife. And they call themselves adults! We had a lovely evening.
Yes, the boy finished his last exam yesterday and is now officially finished with school. He threatened to burn his school books last night, but I don't think he got that far! He will get his results at the end of December. He started working as a waiter today, so out into the cruel world he goes! Lol
And specially for Lynette - Layout of Christmas 1999. Please note that my albums are all in my bedroom so this photo was taken on my bed.
A glorious mess! Who can scrap neatly anyway?
My sister did 4 single layouts - this was her favourite for the day.
I did one single layout and 2 doubles. Here is 2 examples.
This layout was done with a variety of photos my sister in Australia sent me in 1999. I was rather happy with the result.
Michael finished school at the end of 2004, and I now eventually got to his matric dance photos. I used one of Becky Higgins' sketches and must say I am quite happy with the result! The old photos are actually perfect for trimming to the suggested sizes. I am up to date with my 2008 photos and are now working my way back in time.
